Gary listed my downtown condo in the middle of January 2009. It was the slowest time of the year and with the real estate market in Vancouver being the worst in 6 years the outlook was very bleak.
After doing his research, he recommended a price point based on what little was selling in my area and I took his advice. Within the first day of listing he had 3 appointments and had scheduled 2 open houses for the weekend which brought in about 25 showings.
By the end of the weekend I had an offer. Gary did his best to work on my behalf to get my price. We were unable to reach an agreement, but Gary was very positive that my condo would sell soon. Instead of letting the buyer go, he kept in touch with the buyer’s realtor for the week following the offer.
A couple days later, the realtor called back and the clients had decided to counter my last offer which I accepted. It took Gary only 10 days to sell my apartment.
